China's largest photovoltaic-hydrogen energy storage project, located in the tidal flat area of Rudong county, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, has successfully connected to the grid and commenced operations on Dec 31.
Working gas in storage was 1,829 Bcf as of Friday, March 20, 2026, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decrease of 54 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 90 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 14 Bcf above the five-year average of 1,815 Bcf.
